The Phoenix Center is a residential crisis program located at the RiverValley Center in Owensboro, Kentucky. Our program is designed with your needs in mind. We offer personalized, round-the-clock, intensive, short-term crisis support to help you stabilize and move forward towards recovery in a welcoming environment, with eight beds available for eight adults on a voluntary basis.

Our aim is to provide you with a supportive atmosphere that is less confining than traditional inpatient options. Our team will collaborate with you, your loved ones, and other healthcare providers to create a recovery plan tailored specifically to your individual needs.

We tailor our support to your unique needs, with pre-admission consultations to ensure our program meets your goals. The Phoenix Center is designed for adults 18+ who are capable of independent functioning but need support as they work through tough times or are experiencing significant interference due to mental health and substance use challenges.

During your stay, you will have opportunities to engage in individual, group, and family therapy sessions, as well as skill-building activities and education. You will receive a psychiatric evaluation and collaborate with our team to create a personalized recovery plan that suits your needs.

Our aim is to support you in getting back to your daily life as soon as possible. We will work closely with you to connect you with follow-up resources and ongoing support, including aftercare, to prevent future crises and enhance your overall quality of life.

At The Phoenix Center, our team is here to support you every step of the way. We have a diverse team including a clinical director, nurse coordinator, administrative manager, psychiatric providers, and peer support specialists, all committed to empowering you and helping you reintegrate into the community with a strong sense of stability.
