H.U.D. FACILITIES
Two 8-bed group homes for persons with mental retardation/ developmental disabilities have staff available 24/7. Group home residents work at sheltered workshops or supported employment sites during the day.
One 20-unit and another 12-unit apartment complex are home to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who qualify for Section 8 rental assistance on the one bedroom apartments. Residents here live independently without supportive services.
