FORENSIC SERVICES
Three Kentucky Department of Mental Health service grants allow RiverValley to support the seven-county forensic communities with professional staff who provide:
Jail Diversion Service - At the request of the Court systems, evaluation services are provided for inmates who may exhibit behaviors/symptoms best treated in a mental health in-patient environment.
Suicide Prevention Training is conducted by RiverValley professionals for the staff of detention centers (jails-adult and juvenile) in the western Kentucky area, as requested.
Jail Suicide Assessments are performed for incarcerated individuals to determine if a moderate or high risk of lethality is present. Assessments are offered 24/7 to any participating Detention Center in the RiverValley area of Western Kentucky.
