Crisis Stabilization in Kentucky
The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is an eight bed residential program for adults who need short-term crisis intervention. CSU serves individuals that are facing a psychiatric crisis and is in need of a supportive environment. Individuals will participate in group and individual therapy.

Our highly specialized staff offers a variety of services for children, adolescents, adults, family members or life partners. When necessary, referrals are made to local hospitals, a state hospital, school-based services or home-based services. Emergency services are available at all clinic locations during normal business hours. The crisis and Information Line will assess the need for emergency care during hours offices are closed. Crisis, Information, and Gambling Hotline
This program is a twenty-four hour, seven days-a-week crisis intervention, information, and referral telephonic service that is provided free of charge to individuals seeking help. Crisis Line services the needs of any and all special populations regardless of age, gender, religion, or circumstance presented and remains current on the resources available. Callers may remain anonymous and receive help from trained crisis call technicians. Phone calls are answered promptly by trained, caring individuals with supports and resources readily available. Providing high quality professional services for one’s family member is both a mission and a professional mandate for RiverValley Behavioral Health.
